Search file cabinets

Once the User has logged-on (tailored security ensures compliance with organizational standards), the Search Parameter screen appears instantly. Having chosen a filing container from the drop-down menu, the User is automatically offered the specific pre-defined Index Fields for  this cabinet.  Simply enter a query in one field or multiple fields, and the required data, whether it be a computer report or related raster image will be on-screen within seconds. Should more complex searches be required, range (date and/or value) searches plus wildcards may be used. Free text search is also used for unanticipated searches. Context sensitive help screens are present throughout the product.

DataStore and DataStorePlus can store millions of pages on-line or near on-line in jukeboxes. Optical, Raid and CD solutions in any combination, are available.

Viewing and Comparing Information

The COLD data is viewed on-screen in the original print format.

The IMAGE data is viewed on-screen exactly as scanned. The number of pages retrieved is displayed - page/up, page/down or go to commands may be used to move between the pages. Windows vertical or horizontal tiling may be used to compare pages, from different applications if required providing the ability to simply reconcile accounts. Screen fonts used for COLD data may also be adjusted to ensure viewing of a complete page width.

Provided the User's security level is sufficient, Electronic Notes and annotations may be created and/or viewed. A page or range of pages (with or without a form overlay) may be printed, faxed, attached  to email or exported to disk files. COLD or Image pages may be exported for use in other application packages if required.
